heya romero, telling your parents is something really only you would truely know if it’s right.
How tolerant are your parents – and how openminded are they about social groups.. what i think i’d do would be drop a couple of furry references — maybe leave it a few days before asking them if they’ve ever heard about furries – see what they say. If they’ve never heard about furries then you could have an opportunity to tell them that you are one, and paint the furry community in a good light to them when you explain it to them.

Its a difficult decision to make – i myself did tell my parents, but i told people at work too im openly furry – but its to do with the people i know – they wont judge me badly for who i am.

SO! have a poke at your parents, probe them to see if they have any negative preconceptions of furry – and then take the choice as to whether you even need to tell them your furry or not .. sometimes its really good as birthday or christmas presents start coming in the form of your chosen species :3
